Using our secret spy glasses to see the hidden message!
Hello everyone! It’s day 2 of Petals’ training in cracking the code. Spy training started as soon as we unpacked our bags. We stamped our play dough with numbers. Some friends made number trains. We also created different objects using our magnetic blocks.

And because the weather is unpredictable today, we opted to eat snacks first then go to the temple to avoid the rain. While waiting, Petals' little detectives went on a mission to find Wally and other things in the book, Where’s Wally. They counted objects that they could find in the book.

When the rain stopped, just like sneaky spies, we dashed to the temple to look for bugs. Some friends found a lot of rolly-pollies and Kotaro saw a lizard. Nagi together with Kotaro collected about 20 roly-pollies and showed them to their friends.

After our roly-poly hunt, we went back to school. We then gathered in a circle and danced to our favorite nursery rhymes. We danced to Five Little Monkeys, The Floor is Lava and Do You Like Broccoli Ice Cream. Evita introduced our Spy Training Code today; numbers! She encouraged the class to count 1-10 and challenge them to count backwards. Counting backwards is a little tricky and we still need more practice. She told the class that Petals has another code to crack today. Since yesterday we mastered decoding shapes, today we are going to decode some numbers! With their spy glasses and magnifying glasses they honed their decoding skills and replicated the code.

After our fun spy mission, our stomachs were grumbling. We happily chatted with our friends and teachers while eating.
L: I have sweet potato chips today.
R: Is this sausage? Where is mommy going?
L: I will eat 100%
R: Me too!
N: *nods head when asked if she would finish her lunch.
R: I don’t want to sleep. I don’t want to get bigger.
L: I want to grow bigger
E: I am 100%.
