The school calendar shows all the events, school closures, breaks, early dismissal days, parent-teacher conferences, and more for the entire school year at Ohana International Preschool.
The school year commences in the last week of August and it ends in the second week of June.
The school does not close for most national holidays. We sometimes have events on these days, e.g, Dad’s Day is on 11th February, which is a national Holiday.
We are closed for one week towards the end of October for Fall Break. We are closed for 3 weeks over December and January, and have one week off for Spring Break in the last week of March.
We have 6 weeks of Summer School and 3 to 4 weeks at the end of July going into August.
There are half-day breaks before the holiday breaks and two half-day breaks at the beginning of the year to help everyone transition to school slowly.
No, we do not offer programs during holidays.
There are usually no changes to the academic calendar.
If there are any additions or changes, parents are informed via email from the office, through Class Dojo in both the office and each classroom, and also through LINE.
