Mystery Box
Happy Wednesday! We’ve been enjoying another great day in Flowers Summer School! Since it’s getting too hot to go to the park, we decided to stay inside all day. We played some games and danced to exercise our bodies today!
CIRCLE TIME
Continuing our ninja/spy theme, today we are challenging our sense of touch! How can we function without the use of our eyes?
QUESTION OF THE DAY
T: Are your hands connected to your brain?
R: Yes!
T: I think it’s connected here in your arm. Then it goes here (head)!
We’re certain that our brain and hands are connected! Now we’ll put that to the test!
We took turns guessing a mystery item inside a box while only using our hands to feel the item. Two friends guessed an item before we revealed it to the class!
Item 1:
Y: A lego!
R: Lego!
Answer: Lego!
Item 2:
S: Pencil
M: Pen

Item 3:

Answer: Paint brush!
Item 4:
O: Phone
R: Is it a phone?
Answer: Phone!
Item 5:

W: A flower!
Answer: Flower!
Item 6:

Item 8:

Answer: Snorkel!
We are really good at figuring out what something is without seeing it! Maybe that will help us become even better spies! What other senses can we use or not use and still solve a mystery?
Have a wonderful evening! See you tomorrow!
Love,
Flowers XOXO
