Colorful Creations and Big Excavations
Friday, June 14th : colorful creations and big excavations!
TGIF!
This morning on the front activity table, we had our rainbow pasta available once more for everyone to enjoy making a beautifully colored bracelet! I sifted through the colorful noodles with awe while Y tried threading some onto her pipe cleaner. I was also very interested and came along to make one too! I also made a pasta bracelet and gave abig smile while proudly showing it off! This was so much fun for our fingers to create!
At the back activity table, was our amazing rainbow play doh! A had so much fun squishing and shaping the clay into many shapes but especially loved making pretend cookies! N also made some delicious rainbow pizza! She was very kind to cut slices for her friends and teachers! YUM!
In the free play area were our cars, tuned up and ready to drive! D brought two of his own and was very excited to share them with his friends! I, T and L also picked their favorite cars and raced around the free play area floor! VROOOM!
After we cleaned up and sang our morning song, the buds friends wanted to sing the “I can sing a rainbow” song by popular demand! The teachers were impressed by I and Ls’ big beautiful singing voices! They are great singers! Even A was humming along to the song too!
Pretty soon, it was time for us to enjoy our snacks together and head out to the park! We went to step park today and played with balls in the green space. P showed everyone how accurate her throwing has become! She can throw just about anywhere she aims the ball! T also showed his friend I and Y how to nicely kick a ball! He is a great coach! Theo can kick the balls very high! Super cool!
On our way back, H and I were amazed that we found a HUGE excavator and crane at work in the neighborhood! It was so cool to see the excavator easily scoop up dirt and rocks, digging out big holes! Wow!
Thanks everyone and have a great evening!
Love,
Buds
