In Great Numbers!
Wednesday is here!
This morning on the first activity table, was the spotty dog number game! N had lots of fun spinning the spinner and happily searching for the correct puppy card with the same number of spots!
On the back activity table, N and M were poking holes into the play doh together and laughing! P made a chair for her lego friend and N cut pasta for a pretend lunch! Yum!
In the free play area, there were the smaller legos that take a little more finger and hand strength to snap together. L and T made water guns and pretended to be firefighters putting out fires all around the town! Amazing work you two!
Once we cleaned up the room and sat down for circle time, L told us that we would record our morning song audio together! We did our best to sing nicely and finished a lovely song to share at home. We then started a counting activity by identifying different objects and counting each set of objects together! It was lots of fun and I counted four rainbow people and M came up to bravely count five toy cars! N counted three potatoes, N counted two slices of tomato and T counted one chocolate ice cream cone! Who knew that counting could be so DELICIOUS!
After we enjoyed our snacks, we trekked off to Arisugawa park! Right away, we noticed the sand was perfect for molding and shaping after yesterday’s rain! It was a long walk but the weather was amazing! When we got there, everyone wanted to start digging and I enjoyed exploring, shaking the sand through a sifter toy! Shake, shake, shake! Nearby, D used careful hand movements to scoop and transfer sand into a watering can! Squishing, squeezing and feeling the sand run through our fingers was so nice! Many of us worked together to fill buckets and make sandcastles! Such architects we have in Buds!
When was the last time you built a sandcastle?
Have a nice evening everyone!
Love,
Buds
