Birthday Buddies!

Friday, May 24th : Birthday buddies!

TGIF!

On the front table this morning, we put together a train and fire station puzzle! D and T loved working as a team to put the train puzzle together while Ichiri and P were nearby to provide different colored pieces to their friends! Nice work!

A showed great fine motor control while she picked and glued colorful strips of paper onto a yellow background to finish the design of her flower! Beautiful!

At the back activity table, N stamped clay into fire truck cookies! He shared some with I, who gave him a great big smile in return! Thanks N!

In the free play area, the trains and train tracks were ready for construction! I was fascinated by the spinning wooden windmill and carried it around the room to show his friends! I showed Y how to hold her paint sponge nicely so that she could finish her beautiful work of art for her birthday!

Pretty soon, it was time for us to clean up and invite our special guests, R, N and A in to celebrate the birthdays of our very own Y and L! To celebrate their birthdays, we read the stories “The Amazing Planet Earth” and Y shared her awesome musical story book that M was so happy to hold and dance along to! Y also shared her bear puppet book about hugs! They even gifted us all a copy of “The Amazing Planet Earth” and beautiful wooden puzzles! Thank you so much L and Y! We wish you all the best!

After our amazing celebration, we enjoyed our snacks and went for a sunny stroll around the neighborhood! We found a race car and saw a great big crane lifting material for construction!
