Tray tables in the upright position please!

Wednesday, February 21st : Tray tables in the upright position please!

This week is halfway done already!

The rain kept us indoors today but the fun was ever present!

At the front table this morning were the colored bears for patterning play and grouping. D and L pretended to be papa bears crawling across the floor and took their cubs some food. Thanks bear buds! Our friend I was so proud to showcase her beautiful rabbit hair band. She loves rabbits!

On the small table, Brandon helped some of us with a scissor cutting and ripping challenge! M held her squeezy scissors nicely and did a great job cutting! You really surprised us!

Pretty soon after we cleaned up our room and sang our good morning song. Y remembered his picture card when we called each other’s names with a huge smile! N’s mom came to teach us more about her beautiful home country, Israel! We boarded our imaginary plane and set our course!

I showed us a BIG pretty flag of Israel and showed us on her world map where her family lives! Wow! N was very helpful in supporting her mom through the whole demonstration! She loves to help out! We built a famous replica of the wailing wall in Jerusalem where people make prayers on tiny papers and insert them into the wall. We did the same to our scale model!

We folded using our fingers and found many places to put them. When it was done, I sang a famous beautiful song called “Yeroushalaim Shel Zahav- Jerusalem of Gold”. She has a great singing voice! Afterwards, we all had fun dancing and holding hands to a very upbeat song! We held hands and danced in a circle and moved our bodies to the beat! I LOVED the dance and moved his body with all his might!

Once our friend Ilana left, we washed our hands for snack time, gobbled it up and then had free play inside! We got to use the soft slide today and lots of Legos! N and P had a blast going down the slide laughing at Brandon trying to tickle them! Doheon shared some egg shakers with everyone saying “gift! Many!” Thanks buddy!

Though it was rainy, we still had loads of fun!

Thank you for coming to share with our class today!

Love,

Buds
