A Trip to Arisugawa Park

October 14, 2024

Happy Monday! It’s the last week until fall break!

CIRCLE TIME

On Friday we ventured to Kogai Park for the first time this year, and today we went to Arisugawa Park! How do we feel about going to different parks even though they’re further than Step Park?

R: Everyday in the same park is not fun.

J: Kogai has the zipline!

S: Arisugawa has so many trees!

M: We made a pretend campfire!

T: Today bad. So many yucky things!

C: Arisugawa has the climbing thing!

A: The bars!

Since we’re getting used to walking longer distances, there are so many other places that we can go! We’ve been to three parks and the library so far, where else can we go now?

S: We can go to Toys R Us!

WEEKEND ACTIVITIES

We shared a few of the things we did on the weekend!

J: On Sunday, I watched TV all day!

R: Yesterday, I play with my friend; not from flowers. She was already 6.

A: I watched a movie. Minions!

C: I play with my friend. She has a brother. Also I went to Kidzania. I did care rental and service in an airplane.

O: I popcorn eat so much! I eat so many popcorn! It’s too yummy and my belly is too big!

M: Yesterday I go to Disneyland! I saw Halloween and so many songs like Let It Go. It was so cute and scary! I ate a new kind of popcorn! It was so good! Caramel popcorn.

T: I go to Disneyland and eat popcorn! It’s honey popcorn!

Y: I go with mama and I see monkey George. Curious George! He mix foods because it’s so yummy!

Thank you for sharing everyone! We’re glad to hear that everyone had so much fun!

QUESTION OF THE DAY

T & M: Can you make art with numbers?

S: No, because we cannot move them, so we cannot make art.

Everyone else said yes, so we tried it out! We all wrote some numbers on the board and thought about what we could do with them.

A: (3) It’s almost like a butterfly!

O: I can make a dragonfly!

C drew something using three 5’s and we guessed what it was.

S: Is it a building?

C: It starts with “ch” … chains!

Then R drew something using a “2” as the base of the drawing.

R: She has eyes.

C: Duck?

O: White duck?

A: Swan?

R: It starts with “B” … Baby duck!

Next, J drew something using a 1 and 0.

A: A flower?

J: Yes!

Last, T wrote his name using a “2” instead of an “S” . So creative!

It was fun to look at numbers in a different way that we usually do! What can we see in other numbers?

Have a wonderful evening! See you again tomorrow!

Love,
