Getting ready for Mother's Day and End of the Year!
We had another fun and busy day at school! We started our morning working on several crafts! At one table we continued working on our Mother’s Day flowers and at the other table we were finishing up our special poster we are making for our friends in Asahi Youchien. They sent us a lovely poster for Children’s Day which was on May 5th. So we are making a poster celebrating the countries we are from or have lived in. Using the pastel crayons we colored our flags. We could either color the flag as we see or we could get creative and use other colors. Our teachers laminated our flags and stuck them on the poster! We will get to see what the finished product looks like tomorrow! On our activity table, we had the threading activity! We made necklaces and bracelets. When it was time to pack away, we didn’t want to take our accessories off because we worked so hard to make it. Our teachers promised we could have another threading activity tomorrow and what we make tomorrow we can take home!
After we packed away our toys we had our snacks then gathered for circle time. We started by singing our morning song and then our Mommy song. Nimo continued Sayaka’s discussion from yesterday.
