Don't forget your cap!

TGIF!
What a busy week we’ve had!
This morning on the front table there were the people puzzle connectors available by popular demand. They’re great for fine motor and mapping out simple pattern sequences! On the back table was our amazingly beautiful winter party banner ready for more decor! N created a people chain out of the puzzle pieces with I. They were really into it! L, T and M helped glue shiny pieces of paper and fluffy cotton to our winter party banner! What a great fine motor challenge to glue small pieces around.
Out in the playroom we had the musical instruments set and ready for the buds band to enjoy! The beat of the drums and sounds of the maracas got us in the mood for joining circle time and flexing our pipes!
Once we cleaned up and sat down for circle time, we sang our good morning song and got our shakers ready for “frosty the snowman” and “jingle bells”! N and T had so much fun dancing and shaking their snowmen shakers together! Their energy is so contagious!
After the songs, we settled down and Brandon showed us some warm winter cap shapes made from the colorful papers we painted together. We were all invited to add fluffy cotton rims to them. It was fun to feel the fluffy cotton and sticky tape. I and N helped their friends gently stick cotton pieces onto their winter caps with such warm and friendly care. They’re so sweet! Everyone did a great job!
Pretty soon it was time for snacks! We then got ready for the park but practiced a fire drill! All walked out safely doing a great job following the teachers and calmly leaving, pretending to shield their faces from smoke. Great work everyone!
See you next week!
Love,
Buds
