HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Happy Halloween!
Today was a special day for the Petals Class! Two Spiderman, Iron Man, Jerry the Mouse, Two little Dinosaurs, Ultraman, Mario, a Firefighter, a Witch, a Bat, a Beetle, a Pirate, and Bluey came to our Halloween Party!
We started our day finishing our Sweet Potato Fall Stamping and because it’s Halloween we cut play doughs and fed our hungry monster. Some of the students were asking what are the costumes of the teachers.
Y: Is Nemo a rabbit? ( asking Evita)
Evita: Is he a rabbit? ( Nemo hopping like a rabbit). He is a caterpillar.
Then it’s time for our Halloween Party! Parents joined in the fun wearing their costumes. We first sang, “Knock, Knock, Treat or Trick Who are you? To introduce to everyone about our costumes. We continued to sing two more songs, “ Dem Bones, Skeleton Song” and “ Go away, Big Green Monster”.After singing, we played a game inspired by the song, “ Who took the candy from the Trick or Treat bag? then, we went around the Halloween stations to have fun. We had, the Pumpkin Carving Station, Monster Bowling Station, Pumpkin Toss Station, and Web Rescue Station. And because we really enjoyed guessing who took the candy for our trick-or-treat bag, we played another round. We said thank you and goodbye to our parents. Nemo asked us to complete the face of the pumpkin blindfolded and we made funny-looking Jack-o-lanterns.
After the Halloween Party, everyone was excited to eat their special treat. Teachers reminded everybody to finish eating their lunches before eating their special treat.
We had such a fun-filled day. Thank you, parents, for making it extra special!
