Shopping and Eating
Games
Yesterday we played a memory game with the teachers during free play and today we played a shopping game with Pauline. Our attention span is getting longer and we’re starting to like more table games. Around the classroom we also played with Mr. Potato Head, pyramid blocks and building blocks. Sayaka also read a Japanese book to us but she translated it to English. Outside in our Petals garden we cut our lettuce, arugula and parsley that we grew with Kai. We wonder what we’re going to do with it?
Shopping and Eating
After asking how everyone is in our feelings song, we tried to remember what kind of shopping we did earlier with Pauline. We had milk, kuma-san (bear), apple juice and strawberry. We put the items in the shopping cart and then the shopping cart took a trip under the blanket. When it came out one of the item was missing! Which item was it? N and S were really quick to notice milk. Okay, so that was just a practice round. We played several rounds of trying to guess what was missing in the shopping cart. For some of us it was a little difficult but it was the first time that we tried it. Speaking about going shopping we kind of went shopping this morning as we got veggies from our garden. Today we’re going to eat our salad made with veggies that we picked! Plain salad sounds nice but maybe some of us want some dressing for the salad. Kai brought all the materials for the dressing for us to make. We looked at the ingredients first. We had olive oil, salt, lemon juice and pepper. Carefully, we mixed the ingredients in the salad one by one. First was the oil, then salt, and pepper. Lastly, we added the lemon juice. During snack time it was time for us to eat our salad. There were two options- one with dressing and one without. Most of us wanted to try the one with the dressing and Z, Y, and A even wanted seconds! YUM!
Temple Run
We wanted to try to walk to a new new new park today but unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to go so we decided to go to our next favorite spot…. the temple! We brought the ring to the temple as we love to chase it around. We also love to throw the rings and catch it. Look at all the things we can do with the rings!
Thanks for the wonderful day! Have an amazing weekend. See you next week!
Love,
