Outdoor Singing Time with our friends
Good morning, everyone! It’s another great day in Buds class. Our friends are always full of energy and lively spirit as we enter our classroom. Today, we had so many unique and exciting activities prepared by our teachers. It is also another day of fun discoveries and understanding the properties of ice. It was also cold in the morning, and we felt that winter was just around the corner. We can’t wait for it.
Table Activities
Frozen Sea Animals
Liezel was so kind to put some sea animal toys for us to use for our table activities. The block of ice looked interesting and we were so happy to see what the insides looked like. Some of our friends said, “Whoa!” They seemed so amazed by it because the ice has a blue coloring. One of us told our teachers that the water was dirty because it has a different color.
Ocean Animal Art continuation
Do you remember the artwork we did the other using straw and paint? We revisited this and added more sea creatures to it. We loved the fact that they have sparkly scales and glitters. We used our fingers and stuck them with glue. After we finished the class, we were so proud of what we had achieved.
Park and singing time
We went outside earlier than usual because we felt that it would be nice to use the big green area for our particular music time. Going out for a walk to the park is becoming much easier for us now because we practice every day. Holding onto the rope can still be a bit challenging for some, but we’re working hard to walk to the park with ease.
When we arrived at the park, we all sat down with our friends and teachers. We started listening to music from the ukulele. For us, being outside and singing songs give us a different feeling of happiness. We truly appreciate how wonderful our world is. The music that we sang today was “Peace like a river”. After that, Flowers class came to join the singing session, and we enjoyed having them as well because we always believe the more children are singing in our group, the happier we’ll be. Then, we sang “Today is Monday” followed by “I’m in the mood for singing” and “Slippery Fish”.
It was a fun outdoor singing session today and our Ohana friends came and sang with us with their beautiful voices.
Puzzle Adventures
Our puzzles are pretty popular this morning. We had our Disney jigsaw puzzles, and it was great that we saw some familiar Disney characters such as Donald and Goofy in the picture. We enjoyed matching and putting things together, and it has been good practice for all of us.
Dollhouse and Trains
The last adventure we did today was completing our dollhouse and connecting all our trains and tracks. We even counted the train tracks and how long we had connected. Counting is becoming one of our favorite things we want to do.
Thank you so much, Ohana for another beautiful day. See you all again tomorrow!
Lots of love,
All the children from Buds class
