Farewell My Friend

Farewell My Friend

The end of the school year is filled with excitement, happiness, and sadness at all at the same time.  We are excited for this year to end as it leads us to the next chapter in our lives. We are having lots of fun preparing for our End of the Year party, and can’t wait to see what our teachers have made for us! However, it is also time for us to say good-bye to our friends. Some of us will be moving up to Flowers, some will stay, some will go to new schools, and some have to move. Today, we had to say our farewells to our good friend, To. They have to be on the move again and thus, they cannot come to Ohana anymore.

We were lucky to have To come see us again in Petals class. He seemed to have grown much taller and his hair looked very pretty! As happy as we were to see him, it’s never easy to say good bye. We all sent our messages to To, wishing him the best in his new environment. Because of the virus, we had to limit how long our guests could stay, which wasn’t very long. We said our messages, then took a group photo, then we sang and danced “Highway Number One” last time with To. We had a bittersweet moment together and we bid our farewells and hopefully, we will see him again. Thank you Ke, Ak, To, and Y for joining the Ohana Family! We will miss you all dearly and we are all wishing you the best! If you ever stop by, we are sure to welcome you with open arms!

After we said our good-byes, we had to quickly get ready for Maryna’s Ballet class! One group danced with Maryna while the other group ate then snacks, then switched. In no time our ballet session was over and we all went gathered together to rehearse for our Party. After our rehearsal we had some fun singing and dancing “Zoom Zoom Zoom” song then we meditated to calm down. We quickly ate our lunch and just like that our day was over. Everyday we are so busy preparing for the Party! We have to make sure everyone enjoys it!

Love,
