Happy Halloween!
When we arrived at school we were all amazed at the different costumes that our friends and teachers were wearing. We had time to observe one another and have photos. We also spent time involved in free play activities before our actual Halloween celebrations began.
Our parents prepared delicious Halloween treats for us to have at both snack time and lunch time and once again, we were so excited about our treats and we also were curious to see what our friends had brought to school. We sang our song “knock-knock trick or treat who are you?” and introduced ourselves to our friends and teachers.
“Knock knock treat or treat who are you? I’m a ___. I’m a ____”
We went around asking everyone who they were, all dressed up in their costumes. We had tigers, Everest from Paw Patrol, a pirate, PJ Mask, Snow White, a cat, a train driver, Superman, a dinosaur, and many more. The teachers were “The Reminders”. They wore a pouch, mask and temperature chart! These are things that they remind us about every day, and it was funny to see them giant sized.
After singing the song we had a fashion show to show off our costumes. We walked down the isle and stopped on each foot to pose. After that, we broke up into groups and played with the station games! We also walked around the neighborhood and discovered a HAUNTED HOUSE!!
Our station were:
Feed Me!
We threw the balls into Mr. Monsters mouth.
Eye Spy
We had to climb inside the ball pit and look for monsters eyes that were hidden among the balls.
Spider Craw
We rescued Harry the hare from the spider cave which had very sticky tape in it, just like a real spider web. we tried our best not to get stuck to the tape ……HELP!
Monster Mash
We used our face and other pieces of collage to create our own unique monsters.
It was a fantastic day at school celebrating in a somewhat different way. We hope that our parents enjoyed seeing some videos of our party, which we know that our teachers sent to them.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE! BOO!
