Let’s have a party!
It was a rainy Wednesday but we still like going to Ohana. We saw that our tables were arranged differently today. And they were covered with a long beautiful cloth. We knew that we’re going to have a wonderful party. While waiting for everyone to come, we had some time to play and interact with our friends. Leanne was so happy to put on her special skirt as she turned around and danced like a ballerina. Sofia was always looking for her baby toy and she carried it all the time with a special bag. And Sofie was very patient putting up her own construction and proudly showed it to
her teachers. She said, “Look…I made a house…I did it!” Yurika got the beautiful princess dress and she even asked her teachers to put it on her. She gave us a big smile and continued playing with the toy cars, she found on the floor.
Slowly, some mommies came to our classroom and they joined us as we made the circle. We were about to start the celebration and we were so excited to spend this time with our friends, parents and teachers. Our program was divided into several activities:
- Greetings
- Singing activity:
- Snack time
- Story-time (with Sayaka): Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see?
- Walking in the jungle
- Special activities
- Hot potato (with music)
It was also nice to see Shelley who visited us today. Despite her busy schedule with her class and some stuff that she takes care for Ohana, she really gives time for everything. That’s why, we all love her passion and dedication to have a beautiful school and wonderful Ohana family. We LOVE you Ohana!
What a great time and performance we all had! Hope that we could have more activities like this in Ohana because it was very nice to get to know everyone.
Tomorrow will be our last day at Ohana! Everybody will go home at 11:30 AM. See you all again! Have a good day!
Lots of love,
John, Sayaka and Maki
