Big smiles on photo day

02 December – Daily Journal

??????????Cheese! We took Buds up two or three at a time to have their photo taken. We saw lots of lovely smiles and were happy there were no tears.

We started making Christmas colored inspired necklaces today using all sorts of?????????? green, red, gold and silver collages materials. We were trying to use just our pointer finger in the glue and spread it on the card and then stick the materials on top. Or dip the materials in the glue and then stick on the paper.

??????????In circle time today we used the musical instruments to sing ‘Jingle Bells’ and then got up to dance to ‘Freeze’ and some funky upbeat music. We had some time to do ‘Ring around the Roses’ and ‘Row, Row, Row Your Boat’ slowly and fast. Buds liked doing it fast best. We read a couple of books but then sat in the?????????? circle and Sharee did an action story with Buds help. Our feet were two mice who woke up and decided to bike to the zoo. They were so excited they ran to see the elephants and tip toed to see the monkeys etc. We used our legs and feet to make lots of actions.

??????????Because of the photos we had a day inside and had time to start making our gifts for our Mummies and Daddies. We won’t tell you what we are making as we want it to be a surprise! Some children also did some festive season inspired painting on the easel.

After snack we had our group photo so we changed into our Ohana t-shirts and ??????????checked we had no food on our faces. Back up we went to the third floor and had some more big smiles for the ????????????????????camera.

Thank you

Sharee, Sayaka and Maki
