Let's make Kimbap!
Thrilling Thursday! We had another busy morning finishing up our crafts then welcomed Teacher Brandon to Petals while Esmi went to do Mexico Day in Buds Class. We practiced our mom’s day songs then reviewed what we learned yesterday.
J: Kimbap!
Y: I like curry.
M: Me too!
Nimo: What is this?
R: Naan! I eat naan every single day.
W: Curry yummy!
S: I don’t like curry.
E: (That is from the) Philippines!
R: I like Philippines.
E: Esmi is from Mexico.
Nimo: What did we make with Esmi?
Petals: Guacamole!
M: Onigiri. I like onigiri!
J: Sushi! I like this one (Ikura)
M: I like Ikura too!
I: I like sushi.
P: I like noodles.
D: I am from Korea!
We went to the park first then began making our Kimbap together! Nimo prepared Sushi Rice and boiled the spinach. We helped him chop the carrots, cucumber, and daikon pickles. Nimo spread the sushi rice on the seaweed then put the vegetables inside with a little bit of sesame seed oil. We put on our gloves then helped him roll them up! We each made our very own Kimbap and then ate them for lunch! Our friends really liked it! Many of our friends asked for more!
J: Kimbap please!
I: It’s yummy!
M: *Thumbs up*
E: It’s so yummy! I want more!
M: Can I have one more please?
P: I’m going to take it home and show mommy!
J: I like kimbap!
Thank you all for another fabulous day! Have a wonderful evening and we will see you tomorrow for Fabulous Friday!
Love,
Petals
