Rolling Our Feelings

September 23, 202

Happy Monday! Today the temperature is cooler, and we’re ready to enjoy fall weather!

CIRCLE TIME

We began our circle time with our hello song, but with a twist! When it was our turn to say our name, we rolled a dice with different feelings on it. Whichever feeling the dice landed on, we said our name while displaying that emotion. Here’s how we rolled!

Y: Kind

T: So-so

R: So-so

R: Sad

M: So-so

J: Sad

O: Sad

Y: Scared

Z: Happy

M: Angry

S: Angry

What other feelings can we add to our dice?

Y: What about eat? (for hungry)

Maybe we can make more than one dice! Let’s get some more suggestions!

QUESTION OF THE DAY

M: Are you scared of something?

Y: Yes. A monster and a ghost!

S: No, because I am not scared of anything!

M: I am not scared because I am brave!

O: I’m scared of monster eat boys!

R: I’m scared of ghost and Dracula! He has long teeth!

R: In the morning I’m not scared, nothing at all. But at night, I’m scared of ghosts and zombies! At night, it’s a little bit scary because I think about it.

T: Police will catch the ghost.

Those are all very scary!

S: But monsters aren’t real, right?

J: Monsters are fake!

We tried to think of real things that scare us.

M: I’m scared when it’s dark and no one is in the street. No people, no bicycle, no cars, nothing; and I don’t know where to go.

R: I was scared because I was sleeping and no mommy, no daddy, just the dark there. So, me and Elena look for them, and we found them! But it was scary!

O: Everyone sleep time is scary!

HOMEWORK

Our homework for tonight is to ask our families what scares them. Remember your answers and we will share them on Wednesday!

See you tomorrow for Sports Day!!!
