Are You Ready to be a SPY?

We can’t believe that summer school is almost over! It’s our last day tomorrow! We had lots of fun participating in different activities as we undergo spy training. As the end of our training approaches, we talked about some of the activities that we would like to be included in our spy party tomorrow. For the sake of some of our friends who were not here for some of the training weeks, we took time to discuss how each activity goes. Here’s our list!

(1)  Laser Game – Ty said, “We put ropes on the chair, and we should not touch it”. Th added that “if you do, someone will tell you, sorry you’re out!”.

(2)  Pretend camping – As the song became popular this week, we will dance Bling- Bang-Bang- Born during “campfire”. Campfire won’t be complete without marshmallows and ice popsicles! Marshmallows will be served, but our moms and dads will send our ice popsicles! Yay!

(3)  Hopscotch – As spies, we need to make sure that we can hop and step so, we worked on doing hopscotch!

(4)  Treasure Hunters – We will try to take out gems and animals from ice blocks as quickly as possible!

We are looking forward to our spy party! Please remember to bring your ice popsicle

For the party attire, we talked about the options that we can choose from in deciding what to wear for the party. Theo suggested that “can wear glasses for disguise”. Please feel free to make accessories to highlight your attire.

          Mi: How about dinosaurs?

Hi: I don’t have spy clothes so can I wear an Ohana T-shirt?

Ka: Can I wear a princess dress?

          Ke: I’m police in costume!

TODAY’S ACTIVITIES

We made our ticket that we need to join tomorrow’s spy party. We decorated our tickets on the front and back pages. A secret message will be written on the inside which will be our PASSCODE for the party! Let’s enjoy cracking the code!

We believe that spies have good fine motor skills. Our activity today focused on developing our fine motor muscles in our hands. Guess what we made? A HOMEMADE SLIME we called treasure slime. We mixed white glue, special liquid, glitter and sequins. It was amazing to see how sticky glue became slimy as we mixed all the ingredients together. Each of us rolled the slime into a ball and took it home. Please enjoy it at home, too!

To prepare for the treasure hunters booth tomorrow, we picked small toys and placed them in the ice trays. Let’s see how quickly we can take these toys out of the ice blocks!

Are you ready for the spy party tomorrow? We hope you are! See you tomorrow!

Lots of love,

FLOWERS XOXO
