What will be our next quest?

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Our day was filled with investigations and mysteries to solve!

The first mystery was on the first activity table, we had puzzles! I with the help of Goh-san managed to find lots of pairs. Sh was very interested in this activity and also focused on solving the puzzles and finding the pairs.

On the second activity table we had another mystery: foam blocks! It was like tetris, we had to fit them together! N tried to stack them and I, seeing that N needed help, went to help him and they made a great tower with it!

L helped them and passed the blocks to I when she needed them! Great teamwork, dear apprentice detectives!

In the free play area we played with cars, A and T embarked on impressive car races!

At the craft table, I, A, N and T also made their suncatchers! They really enjoyed gluing all the elements onto the transparent paper.

After eating our snacks we did our circle time. It's time for us to take charge of a real investigation! And we had an emergency, mama duck lost her ducklings, we had to help her find them!

We started by reviewing our numbers, we have to be sure to count the right number of ducks! We count from 1 to 10 and I must say that we are good with numbers!

We then sang the song “5 little ducks” and now we know that mother duck has lost 5 ducklings!

We also read the book “have you seen my ducking?” from Nancy Tafuri to learn more about our case.

We then started to look for our missing little ducks: one likes water - it was near Marjorie's bottle, one likes the rain - it was near the window, one likes to eat - it was on the table, one likes to climb - it was hanging on a bag hook, one likes red - it was on the red board! We are excellent detectives, we have found all the little ducks! Mama duck was so happy!

We then further practiced our camouflage skills! We took the tunnels and the camping tents and tried to hide and be discreet!

We then took the costumes and ribbons and practiced changing costumes while dancing! We took the big bench and we all sat on it to do “the wheel on the bus”!

Then it was already time for us to eat our lunches!

Thank you for today everyone!

Have a wonderful afternoon and see you all tomorrow!

Love,

Buds
