Good afternoon, everyone and welcome back for another funny day in Flowers Class. Today was quite special as it was Earth Day at Ohana International School. To pay our respects to our dear Planet, we didn’t use any kind of electric equipment during the first part of the day. Exceptionally there won’t be any pictures for “Free play”! Nonetheless, we hope that you will enjoy following our adventures of today.
CIRCLE TIME
We started our daily circle time with a simple question: Why are the lights off today?

M.: We want to save the Earth so the teachers turned off the lights.
E.: Don’t throw plastic in the sea.
M.: Don’t throw plastic on the ground because the wind will blow it away to the ocean.
T.: Don’t waste water.
T.: If the plastic go to ocean. The shark will eat it and he will go to the hospital.
T.: Don’t throw cigarette on the ground.
R.: Don’t cut the trees.
C.: If you put plastic in the ocean, the animals will die.
H.: My brother told me that we breathe out, the trees breathe in. Then the trees breath out and we breath in.
Then we talked about our homework from Friday.

C.: My mommy do numbers.
V.: My mommy job is being my friend.

H.: If you really want to do something you have to work.
R.: if we do all the jobs then we will be confused.
M.: My mommy has a job and she gets money from people.
As our friends were exchanging on the matter, it seemed like they were still thinking a lot about their answers. So our teacher asked us, as our homework, to ask our parents: “Why do you need a job?” Then, we ended up our circle time and went to have lunch!
Thank you for following our daily adventures!
Lots of Love,
Children from the Flowers Class.
