Let's make some oranges!

Tuesday, March 5th : Let’s make some oranges!

First of all, we are very happy to welcome a new friend in Buds class! After P joined us two weeks ago, today we welcomed M and we are so happy to play with her! Welcome to the buds team M!

Then, to start the day, some friends took the elevator all the way to the office to take their photos and they all looked very impressive in front of the camera! Then we all put on our Ohana shirts and took the elevator together to go to the flowers classroom to take our class photo!

On the first activity table we played with Montessori Toys: bead maze, hammer and peg, stacking cups, etc. I really appreciated the hammer and peg after L showed him how to use it and M had fun stacking the stacking cups to build a tower. H also had a lot of fun with the bead maze.

On the second activity table we played again with playdough, N, P and Y really enjoyed making different creations.

In the free play area we played with animal figures and lego blocks. T played a lot with dinosaurs and made a bridge with legos for the dinosaurs. M really liked stacking the legos on top of each other and Isa liked using the animals to put their footprints in the playdough. D also imitated animal sounds and so did N!

During circle time we talked about a new color: Orange! We first used a book with only orange illustrations and then we started creating our new craft, after making a strawberry for the red color, we started creating oranges for the orange color! P and L were the first to take the brushes and paint their oranges and everyone then followed, we all had a lot of fun painting our oranges!

We then did a little sport and movements with Liezel and as it was raining outside, after snack time we stayed in the classroom to play a little bit more before lunch time, I asked to dance to Let it go and we all enjoyed a lot dancing on it with her!

Thank you for today everyone!

Have a wonderful afternoon and see you all tomorrow!

Love,

Buds
