Our Winter School Show!

The last day of Winter School! We joined Buds Class for free play time and made sure to make lots of fun memories together! We played with the toy cars and the playdough while we waited for our turn to do the magic painting! Our teachers gave us a blank sheet of paper and some paint. When we started coloring the paper a picture started to pop out! When we finished painting we saw a person playing in the snow! 

After we had our snacks together, we went back to Petals Class for our circle time. We sang the “How Are You Today?” song and told everyone how we were feeling!

D: I’m happy!

R: Silly *Made a silly face*

M: I’m silly too! *Silly face*

R: Happy!

N: Silly! *Made a silly face*

A: I’m happy.

E: I don’t know.

Then we shared our plans for winter break:

E: I’m going to the Philipines

R: By car?

E: Train!

A: Airplane.

R: Where are you going E?

E: I’m going to Fuji Mountain and Hokkaido.

D: I go to Fuji Mountain… And pool and home.

E: If you go to Fuji Mountain, we can play together!

N: Where are you going?

R: I don’t know.

M: Flower shop.

R: Me too! Buy Pink flower.

M: I’m going to buy a Red flower.

D: I want a rainbow flower.

N: Play with my god S.

R: Go to little star.

E: I’m going to visit my family in America.

R: (Going on an) Airplane! Long time.

A: I’m going to TNG.

E: What about you Nimo?

N: I’m going to Osaka on a shinkansen!

E had a little gift for us for the last day of Winter School! He brought little Christmas wristbands for us to take home! We made sure to thank E before we tried putting them on and eventually put them in our backpacks.

We read a story called, “Angelina’s Christmas” by Katharine Holabird and Helen Craig. Just like in the book we decided to have a little winter show of our own! We practiced singing and dancing, “Jingle Bells”, “We Wish You A Merry Christmas”, “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”, and “Santa Hunt”. We ended up recording “Jingle Bells” and “Santa Hunt” to show our moms and dads!

After our circle time we went to Step Park to play with our friends then came back and had lunch time!
