TGIF!

Some of our friends finished up their finger paint portraits this morning and had the option to play with wooden block counters, bricks on the light table! There were also toy cars available in the large playroom with our beloved city map to drive on! I and A did a wonderful job finishing their finger paint sunsets! They were both fascinated by the feel of the paint between their fingers, super squishy!

At the front activity table, T found a unique way to pop the rainbow pegs into the peg board by using a train track toy as a tool! Nice ingenuity! In the large play area, B was very interested in Liezel’s ukulele session and closely observed the strings as she played. Close by was I, demonstrating her prowess at balancing while walking on the balance beam track. Way to go! N was also quite the gymnast, laughing loudly as she rode down the cushion slide with her friends. She really enjoys moving and exploring!

N Showed his affection for his friends and teachers by giving out great big warm hugs! He really knows how to make others feel loved. M seemed to miss Luan today as she very much enjoyed looking at his beautiful life book just before circle time.

Once clean up time was finished, we got into a circle for circle time and said good morning to our friends and teachers. Brandon started the song “One Little Finger” and we all used our pointer fingers to sing along! After that, we listened to and sang along to the song “Five Little Monkeys” using our fingers as tokens to also represent each little monkey! Afterwards, D was proud to show us pictures of his pet cat to the class, so cute! Thanks for sharing!

Have a great weekend everybody!

Love
