Happy Easter!

Happy Friday everyone!

We started the day by drawing all together with Sayaka. G and M did a lot of very nice drawings! We also continued the cutting and pasting activity with Nimo. L and A had a lot of fun cutting paper! And we also played with Mr. Potato head. L, M and R gave Mr. Potato Head a lot of funny expressions and it made Marjorie laugh a lot.

Then during circle time, Marjorie asked us if we knew what was happening this weekend and T immediately knew it was Easter!

G: Easter bunny!

R: Easter

T: Sometimes the easter bunny change color! like Purlple!

M: And pink!

M: Green

E: Yellow

L: And blue!

Marjorie explained to us that the easter bunny was a magical bunny that could change colors and size, it can be very small or very big! The Easter bunny is shy, and it changes shape and hides to be sure that it won’t ever be spotted. That's why Easter Bunny often hides and comes in our house, at the park or even in school to give gifts, chocolates and eggs when we are not there or when everyone is asleep.

T: I want to see the bunny when I wake up, sometimes I stay awake

R: I can’t see bunny, I am sleeping

M : I want to see pink bunny

E : We can’t see Easter Bunny

T: But I don’t want chocolate, I want lego dinosaur

R : I want chocolate!

G : I want toys too

L : Me too, me too!

Then Marjorie read us the story of the Easter bunny who, in order to save Easter, had to trust the help of new friends because it wouldn't have succeeded on it’s own! and luckily they saved Easter together and as T said “everyone is happy to see easter eggs in the garden”!

And we also wanted to help the Easter Bunny by showing the bunny that the whole petals class was ready and waiting for him. So we made a bunny-shaped basket to receive the eggs and chocolates from the Easter Bunny!

Then we had dance class with Maryna and while we were dancing, Marjorie and Sayaka saw the Easter Bunny's shadow outside so we went out to try to see the bunny, but we couldn't find it... But when we went back up in Petals classroom, there were chocolates on the table and in our bunny baskets! The Easter Bunny came to see us! As G said, “It is magic!”
