Let it snow!
Thursday, December 14th 2023: Let it snow!
Happy Thursday!
Today marked the final day of winter school! We had lots of fun this week and loved having you all!
This morning on the front table we added the final touches to our illustration poster before repurposing it into…..SNOW!
On the back table was everyone’s favorite Macy puzzle with numbers. L was focused as ever and determined to complete it with M. They love solving puzzles and made a super cute team!
In the playroom were Ni’s favorite legos set about, ready to build! She loves the elephant character and pretended to march through the whole room! Nearby, N also was hard at work building a house for the elephant. Thanks N! Brandon told us his favorite animal is the elephant! They’re so big and wonderous!
Once we cleaned up and sang our last winter school good morning song, we all stood together and held a stretched blue fabric as a parachute. L laughed out loud as he waved it about making ripples in the fabric! Then Liezel added some snowy scrap paper for us to launch into the air! It was snowing in our classroom! I gave a great performance of the song “let it go” in the library in between building with N. She is a performer for sure!
Before we left for the park, we all bid a fine farewell to our very own L! We all wish him and his family well in all their future endeavors. His teachers and friends love him dearly and hope for stories of his continued growth and development!
We wish all families a safe and relaxing holiday as you venture out to loved ones and to make many warm, happy memories together!
See you after the holiday break!
Love,
Buds
