Raindrops and Eight-Legged Friends!
Happy rainy Wednesday!
Today on this rainy day, we revisited the itsy bitsy spider, read “Little Miss Spider” and made some music together!
On the first activity table, there were matching puzzles that B and L had a blast pairing up with!
On the second activity table, Our friends were able to finish up adding feathers to their lovely sunset bird portraits. O was very focused putting the final touch on his beautiful bird. Nice work!
At our free play space, there were drums and shakers set about. M was happily serenading her friends with the microphone, while I and L explored the percussion instruments making unique beats together just before circle time.
When circle time started, we sang the itsy bitsy spider song and practiced making spiders with our hands and fingers. After our song and dance, we read the cute story “Little Miss Spider”. This story was about a spider that lost her mom but was taken care of by a friendly beetle. Shortly after the story, I wanted to look through her life book and show everyone her mom and dad.
Since it was a bit rainy today, we stayed inside and set up our jungle tents! I climbed quickly through the tents like a tiger! ROAR! There was also a stair slide set up which N and L were going down over and over! They really love to rush down it like a race car!
Once we finished exercising, it was time to start lunch! What a day! See you tomorrow!
Love,
Buds class
