Stunning Thursday!
Play Time
Everyone had a lot of energy today! We drew pictures and we read stories and played with a lot of transportation toys.
At the Art Station
Many were very creative today and thought outside of the box! J did something so cool! He started to draw mountains! And many of us tried to follow along. We all enjoyed drawing cool swirls and circles. N had amazing control of the pencil and was able to follow along shapes well. Y and W were awesome at stacking up the circle shapes. Y was trying to arrange each to look as aesthetically pleasing as possible. After our friend E traced the shapes on a piece of paper, both W and Y were able to follow along so well. They built an awesome tower of shapes with cylinders!
Free Play Area
All of us had the best time. G and K did an amazing job comparing shapes and sizes. K was able to figure out how smaller objects went into bigger ones! G was fast with the sensory objects. We all listened to our friends share different stories. R was excellent at identifying families and colors in the book. K, G and R were very perceptive today and were able to identify pictures in the story books with toys and objects in the room. Meanwhile S did a great job piecing together the railroad track. He played well with A and R and is always willing to work with a team and share with others.
Packing Away
Everyone was such a big help at packing. Many of our friends were really helped with packing away all the objects and helped all of his buds' friends find pieces that were not easy to see.
Circle Time
We started Circle Time by doing the “Head, Shoulder, Knees and Toes” song. We had so much fun because we got to see how fast we could move. Then we sang the song, “He has the whole world in his hands”, song. J said that, “he had a shark in his hands” so we all started to sing the same thing. Then we helped our friends know which circle shape was bigger. W held the plate and we all had a chance to put the smaller plate in the bigger plate. Some of our friends were really good at putting the smaller plate in the bigger one because they were so fast!
Then we all got small cylinder circles that were all of our favorite colors. We got to create small and big circles with our circle shapes on a table. Then we got to take turns to stack up our circles. W and Y led the way to help us stack up the circles. A did an amazing job to balance her circle on the first try!
Out to the Park
We were so lucky that we all got another day at the park! We had races! Many of our friends were so fast! M and N took their time to explore on their own and enjoyed racing then sitting. Our friend E showed us some physical fitness moves and we loved it so much we all had to try it out! Then we all all decided to give our friend E a big hug! S gave a big smile today at the park that captured the mood of everyone in the buds family!
Then on our way back, we all were singing and S was singing a lovely song for all of us. Then before we came back to Ohana, J started to sing a song “I’m so stunning” and when asked if he was stunning he said “yes” then we asked if “we all are stunning?” He also said “yes”. We went back to Ohana with the rest of our Ohana friends and family and had a “stunning” afternoon.
We hope everyone is having a lovely and stunning Thursday so far!
Love,
Ohana family
