Have a wonderful Summer Break everyone!

After six weeks of fun, our Ohana Summer School has finally come to an end. It was really hard to believe it was already over and it was everyone’s last day. It really didn’t feel like it until it was time to go home. Last day or not, it wasn’t going to stop us from enjoying another wonderful school day! We started our morning playing with the Knex and Connect Four game. Many of us were feeling very creative this morning and we wanted to start the day with some drawing. We packed our things away a little earlier than usual because we wanted to head to the park before it got too hot.

Our last park time together was just as fun as any other day! We had a great time chasing our friends and playing catch with the ball! After the park was our usual water play, and as usual we had a super fun time getting splashed! Some of our Petals and Buds friends joined us and we made another wonderful summer memory.

We got changed into our dry clothes and we gathered around for some singing and dancing time with Nimo’s ukulele. We did a popular song called, “Highway Number 1”, we each had an opportunity to make up some actions, it was a very fun song to sing and dance to and it was even better doing together with our best buddies. Instead of having circle time today, we decided to just play some games together until it was time to say good-bye. Our first game we played was one of Flower’s Class’ favorite game, the Bananananana Game. It was a tag game, but instead of running we had to keep our bums on the floor and scoot around the classroom. When we were tagged, we put our hands up like a banana and called out to our friends for help. If our friends rescued us, we were able to move around and help our other friends in need. It was a very thrilling and exhausting game! We then played a few games of dodgeball and just like that, it was time for us to go home.

“Time flies when your having fun”, this phrase really fits well with our Summer School this year. We had so much fun together this summer it’s a bummer it has to end. Thank you moms, dads, grandma, grandpas, and helpers for making our Summer as special as it turned out to be. We are so happy that each and every one of you were able to join us and make memories that will be in our hearts forever. We wish you all a wonder summer break and always withing you all the best for the next school term!

Thank you very much everyone! Love you lots and please stop by to say hi!!!!

Love,

Flowers
