Day Before The Big Day

The last day before the big day.
“We have our computer party tomorrow!”
“My mommy doesn’t come here but my mommy watches me.”
“Special snack, I have tomorrow, ok?”
“Party and game, right?”
We are very excited to our party tomorrow. I hope you will like our performance.
Morning Fun
Good morning! “Look, it’s rainy today.” Our teachers often wonder why we are so energetic every single day, even when it’s a rainy day. We love our rainy boots, umbrellas, and rain jackets, so we are so happy when it rains because we can use our favorite things. At the back side of our classroom, we had cars to play with. We had an ice breaker game and we enjoyed it a lot.
Show and Tell & final rehearsal
During snack time, Sayaka asked us to look at the clock, “When the long hand comes eight, I’m going to start circle time. Please be ready by that time.” Then she reminded us the tasks we should finish; finish snack, go to the toilet, wash hands, and read books if we have time. It was kind of new routine for us and we actually liked it. We looked at the clock and made sure that we weren’t late! Am and Ak were standing by the clock and said, “Oh no! the long hands comes eight!” We all packed away the books and sat on the floor. Sayaka was very proud of us. We all made on time, yay!
Sayaka started our circle time with this question, “Do you know what day tomorrow is?”
As soon as she asked us, Li raised her hands, “Computer party!” Yes, we have our Zoom party tomorrow. Re said, “…..oops! Our party is going to be surprise!” You are going to see more tomorrow. We are sure that you’ll love it.
After we talked about tomorrow's party, we had Show and Tell time. R volunteered to do first. (Same as last time, we used some photos)
R chose photos of August. “I like Si, I want to play with Si at the park.” He pointed his photo and said, “I’m playing with Legos.” Sayaka asked him, what the best memory in this year and he said, “I love going to the park with Petals.” Re asked him, “Why is R is playing with Lego?” R replied, “Ummmm….I like to play with Lego” A asked him what park R likes the best. R said that he loves robot park. Great job, R!
L chose November and pointed the 753 day photo. “I love this photo because mommy came to Petals.” She added that she liked sports day, too. R asked her why her mommy came for kimono day. L said, “She came to help wear kimono. Thank you !
C chose October and said, “I like sports day, I like doing this….balance beam.” He mentioned about Halloween party. He said, “I like pumpkin, I liked T’s costume because I like dinosaurs.” A asked him about Halloween. “You touched pumpkin, did you feel good or bad?” C enjoyed touching it and added, “It was soft!” Thank you so much, C!
Ak was waiting for his turn. When Sayaka called him, he said, “あ～,やっとぼくのじゅんばんだ。Finally here comes my turn!” Ak chose the photos of October. He pointed out the photos of sports day and said, “I like gym class because everyone come, it was very very very very fun. O and L hugging is cute.” He pointed out Pauline’s photo of her dressed up as a crayon and said, “Hahaha Pauline is funny!!” We enjoyed your show and tell, AK!
Ad raised his hands very quietly. He remembered that Sayaka told him, he will have his turn after Ak. He also chose the photo from October. He said, “I like this photo because I like sports day, I really really really really really really really really…..had fun. I like Halloween and trick or treat.” Re asked him why he likes sports day. Ad answered, “It’s super duper fun!!”
We all clapped for our friends. Teachers also gave a big hand for us! After we finished, we did our last rehearsal for tomorrow and had lunch. We had so much fun today and are excited about tomorrow’s party.
