Happy Birthday Petals Friends!

Petal’s Birthday Bash

Happy Birthday Dear Harriet & Lily

Today was a special day in Petals because we had our December Birthday party! Ha and Li were born this month and we are lucky to be able to celebrate such a special event with them! Ha and Li were very well aware of what was happening today as they told all of their friends that their mommies were coming today to celebrate their birthday. We could really tell that the two girls were very excited and they couldn't wait! However we are very busy children and yet again we have a very packed schedule. First, we have to have our free play time. This morning we played with lots of toys. We had the Diplo blocks and the wooden blocks out to craft with. We also pulled out the all the kitchen toys to make a grand feast. Some friends found the balloons and were playing with that.

We packed away a little earlier than usual because Maryna was coming today a lot sooner than our normal Thursdays. Once we quickly tidied up our classroom we stood on our squares and waited for our Ballerina to come and teach us how to dance. We started by warming up our bodies and doing our stretching exercises. Once we were all loosened up, we began practicing our dances for the winter holiday performance. After a quick rehearsal, we practiced our “Papurika” dance, we danced to it freely once then Maryna broke down the more difficult parts up slowly for us so we could accurately learn the whole dance. As much as we would love to go through the whole song, we had our birthday party coming up so we had to say good bye to Maryna.

We returned our classroom back to normal and we tried to squeeze in a short filming session while our other friends were doing a letter game with Nimo. Shortly after, Sh (Li’s mom) and Ch (Ha’s mom) joined us for the party! We all gathered around into a circle as our birthday party was being set up. We gave our celebrants their hats and cards, paired up with a great big hug. We sang a few songs, danced a little, but to properly finish it all up, we really wanted to show our guests our amazing dancing skills. We all requested for “Papurika” and we had Nimo play it on his Ukulele. We remembered what Maryna taught us earlier so we danced Papurika much better than we did yesterday. After all the singing, dancing, and hugging, we were all getting very hungry. We sat down and had our treats! Ch and Sh prepared for us lots of goodies! We had everything from juice, crackers, healthy fruits, and best of all, yummy yummy cupcakes! We sang for our friends one last time then they blew out their candles. Thank you very much Ch and Sh for the wonderfully delicious treats and the amazing decorations. As finished up our treats, we had Sayaka read us a story as we set back up for lunch time.

Today was a very busy, special, and fun day! We’re working very hard to get prepared for our holiday party! We just have a few more days to complete the preparations, hope you all will like it!

Until then,  please take care and we will see you all again tomorrow!

Love,

Party Petals of 2019
