GO AWAY BIG SCARY MONSTER, GO AWAY!!

Our Buds friends want to have a Happy HALLOWEEN tomorrow….

<Table Activity>

There were connecting people toys and Halloween sensory box on the table to play with. It was really fun to play with the sensory box because our friends were able to feel different textures such as feathers, pom-poms and scary eyes. S took two eyes from the sensory box and said, “Eyes!” then he tried to put those on one of the connecting people toys. Also, some friends cooperatively lined the connecting people toys up as if the toys were waiting for trick or treating.

Since tomorrow is the Halloween, we decided to make own spider by stamping our hands.

Our could choose either paint their hands with paint brush or put the hands in the tray. It was little ticklish when our friends painted on their hands, yet, they painted whole hand by themselves and made the special spider with white paint.

<Circle Time >

After we cleaned up all the toys, we gathered at the carpet area to have some circle time. Our friends made a big beautiful circle with little help from teachers and sat down nicely. We started to our circle time by singing good morning song, count how many friends and teachers were here today. After that, Chiaki read a Halloween book called, “Nighty Night Little Green Monster” The book was fascinating because every time Chiaki turned the page, each part of faces go away and there were no monster in the book. So that, Chiaki started to check the classroom if there were some monsters were hiding our classroom or not. K kindly helped Chiaki and they found a blue monster inside of the life book box. Our friends were wonder if there were more in the classroom. All the friends stood up and walked around the classroom. ….Oh no! MONSTERS! Our friends took all the monsters from the classroom and gave them to teachers. I am sure teacher will keep them in the special box so that the monsters are not going to show up tomorrow…..

After that, John played the ukulele and had a Halloween music session.

Before having a lunch time, we went to the park and enjoyed the gorgeous weather together until we got hungry.
