We started our day with Free play this morning and continued our crafts for Dads Day. We also started a new craft for Dads Day. We cut a paper plate and painted it yellow. Some of us finished the craft with the Pipe cleaners also for Dads Day. At the other table we played with Playdough and built lots of fun statues and baked goods like doughnuts. After all that we cleaned up and got ready for Circle time.
Today we talked about neighbors and the Neighborhood around Ohana again but first we started with our morning Routine. We sang the good morning song and Momoka helped with the calendar.
M: Tuesday. 27.
After that A counted how many friends we had in Petals today.

When we had all built a small house, we showed them to each other. Laura and Esmi explained what a Neighbor is and what happens if we push all our houses together. It was a big neighborhood built with individual houses. We packed all the Blocks away again and stood up to listen and dance to a very fun song about heroes in our Neighborhood. The song was called, “Heros in your Neighborhood Song” by Sesame Street. It was a song about doctors and pharmacists and every hero in our neighborhood.

To finish the day off we got ready to go outside. We didn’t go to the park today because we walked around Ohana’s neighborhood and looked at what we could find. We saw many new things from big houses to ABC school and even a temple. A few kids of us also took pictures of the buildings for our map we are creating in class. We were very tired after and walked back to school to get ready for Lunch.
Thank you all for another good day. Have a good evening and see you tomorrow.
Love,
Petals
