My daughter’s first school was Ohana International School. Although the first steps are always very precious and unforgettable, they can also make us parents anxious. Will she enjoy going to school? Will they take good care of her?…and a lot more.
Despite our concerns, our daughter liked school from day one! She used to be very shy, but after experiencing Ohana, her personality blossomed and brightened, and she began to open up to people more easily!
Shelley and the teachers created a happy, safe, and nurturing environment for her and our little girl is now so open to learning more about the world and excited for her new adventure! Thank you for making her first steps so memorable and special!!
We will miss Ohana. Our son usually wakes me up on Saturdays asking if we have school (he’s slowly understanding what weekdays/weekends are), and it used to be “Yay the weekend!” but last week it was “Noo I want to go to Ohana!”. He’s also been “requesting” we pick him up later so he can stay with his Ohana friends after 2pm.
I think that speaks volumes to the safe, engaging, and fun environment for the kids you’ve nurtured at Ohana, so I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the teachers for all that you do for the kids:)
We really appreciate our luck to be a part of the beautiful Ohana community. We have experienced a few schools but never found a school/community like Ohana, and I believe it is because of you, Shelley.

Thanks to the wonderful experience he had at Ohana, he adapted to his kindergarten here even more quickly. His English has also improved a lot. He has become pen pals with his friends from Ohana. They exchange letters and even send video messages to each other. Since his Ohana friends are now living in different countries, I think it is wonderful that they can continue to stay in touch through letters even after graduation. Thank you once again for all the care, support, and kindness you have shown to our family. Our time at Ohana was very special, and we will always cherish the wonderful memories we made there.

Since the age of 4, we have been fortunate to have Ohana International School taking care of our daughter, and her remarkable growth is truly noteworthy.
