Happy Thursday! It is a nice sunny day today and we had a great day in Flower’s class. We started the morning playing different board games and making Mother’s Day cards. Since it was a nice day we also took a trip to Azabu Juban Library and Mamiana Park.
CIRCLE TIME / QUESTION OF THE DAY
Yu and O: Can you have more than 2 jobs?
Mi: Yes, mommy and daddy. First Daddy. Tokyo University, work, maybe gym, lacrosse, boxing. 5! Now Mommy. Gym, making pancakes and work. 3! More than 2.
O: My daddy do computer. Only 1.
Some of our moms and dads have more than 1 job, but what about us. Would we like to have more than 1 job when we’re older?
Yu: No, because I have 100. Favorite is calling my colleagues and playing games.
Mi: I want to be a basketball player. I’m good! I’m good at basketball.
Sh: Computer, scientist and SWAT. Maybe 10 jobs or 11. I still don’t know.
A: I will take care of E, make popsicles, gymnastics, and ukulele lessons.
Ty: Soccer player, basketball player, astronaut. 3 jobs.
To: I do 20 jobs! Police, monster truck, helicopter and builder. I can be the beetle.
Ma: I wanna be a basketball player and driving and soccer player.
Sa: Chef and ballerina. 2.
There are so many different jobs we want to explore when we are older. Let’s keep exploring all the different jobs we have in this world.
HOMEWORK
Today we continued the floor puzzle. As we were doing the floor puzzle, we came across E for electrician. Who did yesterday’s homework?
O: Me! They fix the light.
Wow O. Thank you for doing the homework. We learned about a new job. Wait, what about a jockey?
Hmm, Flower’s class is still unsure.
What about an opera singer?
Mi: I know! Opera singer will sing.
Ma: They walk around and sing all day.
Thank you Mi and Ma for sharing.
As we continued the puzzle, we are still unsure of what a jockey does. While we were doing the puzzle A asked, “What is an umpire?” and Yu asked, “What is a waitress?” Two new jobs we were unsure of. Can we go home today and see what a jockey, umpire and waitress does? Let’s see what we can learn at home and report back tomorrow!
Have a wonderful evening! See you tomorrow!
XOXO,
Flowers
