Happy Wednesday!
It’s raining, it’s pouring, the old man is snoring. That didn’t stop us from having lots of fun in Bud’s class today. This morning, we had 4 different stations. At the front table we had colorful markers. L drew Anpanman while L colored in the paper. We have so many artists in Buds class. At the back table we had a big sorting board. We picked up the blocks and sorted the blocks by shapes. We only had one sorting board, so we practiced sharing and taking turns. In the back room we had Duplo blocks. We enjoyed building different vehicles. Lastly, our kitchen is open as always. E cooked us soup and she warned that that it is, “hot.” N helped E and went shopping for more food. We had lots of fun this morning.
CIRCLE TIME
Today’s circle time started with a story. The story was, “Can you moo too?” by David Wojtowycz. When the teacher asked, “What animal is it?” E responded, “Cow!” Yes, it was a cow on the front cover. N taught us that the cow says, “Moo.” In the story we learned about different animals and the sounds that they make. First we saw a…

When the teacher asked if the pigeon could swim, our friends responded No. When the teacher asked if the pigeon could fly, we said Yes! Pigeons can fly, but what about Buds friends. What are we good at? What can we do? The teacher showed us different flashcards, and we tried to see if we could do the yoga poses. Please look through the photos.
AFTER SNACK
It was a rainy day so we couldn’t go to the park or do water play. Instead, we had so much fun inside. We first started our fun time by dancing to Shake! Shake! by Nancy Kopman. We had lots of fun shaking our colorful scarves and moving them up and down. Our fun didn’t stop there. Next, we made a circle to play our bean bag game. We listened closely to the song as the song told us to pass it fast then slowly. We also passed it the other way. It was so much fun we said, “One more time please!” After, K requested “Wheels on the Bus.” Then R requested, “Head, shoulder, knees and toes.” Lastly, L requested, “Ants,” so we marched around the classroom. We had so much fun singing and dancing.
We had such a great day!
Time is flying by. We are already in the month of October. We have so many fun activities planned for this month. Just a friendly reminder. For those who have not brought in your life books please send them in. We are so excited to see them!
Have a great night!
Lots of love,
BUDS XOXO
