Weaving Wonders

Happy Friday everyone,

In the morning we finished off our week weaving project ready to take home today. We also enjoyed mixing and making yummy food in the kitchen.

Circle time

T: Rainy

S: Six (26th)

T: This is a circle (castenet)

T: circle (japan flag)

R: Isshou! (same tshirt)

Lucy: Why are T and R wearing the same shirt?

R: Soccer!

Lucy: Who is playing?

T: Japan!

Lucy: What shape is a soccer ball?

K: Circle!

Lucy: Mountain.

T: Triangle.

Lucy: Clock?

K: Heart!

Lucy: Ipad?

T: Rectangle.

Lucy: How do you weave?

S: In and out

K: Over and under!

We reviewed all of our shapes by thinking of exciting movements for the different shapes. We moved around the room like we were weaving; moving our arms under and over.

We went to the park and enjoyed looking at all of the wet grass and plants until it started to rain again! We walked very fast back to eat lunch and keep dry.

Thank you so much for a fantastic week two of summer school. Have a great weekend and we will see you next week.

Love,

Petals
