Sports Day is finally here! We had a great time racing our friends and cheering our parents on for the Parent-Teacher race!
After our races we had a ton of fun playing games! We played a traditional Japanese Sports Day game, Tamaire. Our version was a little different, instead of a pole in the center, our teachers carried baskets on their backs and we tried tossing the balls inside the basket! We had a Big Pants race, where we jumped into a giant pair of pants with our parents then worked together to quickly make it to the other side. We had a fun obstacle course to navigate through and another traditional Japanese game, Kaki no Ki (Persimmon Tree). Our fifth station was a bucket relay race
