Hello everyone,
Today was another day studying the community helpers that help make us better when we are injured or unwell, we studied the role of a pharmacist.
Circle time
We noticed that the red dot had been moved on the calendar
Sh: maybe someone stole it in the night.
E: or it just fell off.. oh its right there!
We turned our attention to the Japanese word of the day.
K: kusuri
M: kusuri means medicine

I in Chinese. We have so many friends from different countries in Flowers class.
What is medicine?
E: when you are sick you eat it and it makes you better
K: medicine is kusuri. Kusuri makes better
Question of the day
M: have you taken medicine before?
E: I was sick before and I took medicine. I had a sore throat and I ate it.
Rl: I drank the medicine was sick my nose had lots of dripping
M: when I was in the car I had medicine.
E; I take very special medicine.
Sh: I had medicine at Hannukah, I was so very sick I had a high fever it was bad timing.
Then the teachers showed us different medicine.
R: it says seki, seki means cough
M: Anpanman medicine says kaze
L; kaze is sneezing
M: I had a cold before
E: I don’t have a cold I just am homesick.
Who gives you medicine?
R: nurse!
We learned that the person who gives us medicine is called a pharmacist.
We practiced doing an activity because pharmacists have to count and sort medicine we tried to sort the counters into the number that the teachers showed us, we did a great job!
