Petals Puppet Show

Hello everyone!

We started our Thursday morning by adding finishing touches to our canvas. We enjoyed painting our canvas so we decided to create a smaller version with the crayon. We also played with the paper puppets we made before.

After tidying up our art activities , Maryna came to our class and we loved dancing with her so much, we asked for more songs to dance to. Before practicing our songs, we discussed which singing voice we should use when we are singing. We learned we should not sing too loud like a Lion or too quiet like a rabbit. We should use a nice singing voice like a puppy!

M: Maryna! *hugs Maryna. (I want) Mosquito song

E: One more song (please)

Petals: Thank you, Maryna

Evita: Which animal should we be if we are singing?

M: Dog!

During circle time, Evita asked Petals, “What is a day in Petals like?” It led a discussion about our favorite parts of the day, free play, circle time and park time. Today we focused on circle time. We all shared what we usually do, and Evita revisited the paper puppets we made. We then transformed two tables and two pieces of fabric into our very own puppet theater! Evita chose three Petals friends to help her with our puppet show while the rest of us sat down and watched. We had so much fun, other friends tried to do their puppet show.
