Good afternoon everyone! Wow! What a chilly day it was today!
This morning, we discovered an exciting color block shape sorting game on top of the front table! There were red, green and yellow shapes set out and even some color coded boxes for us to sort them into. All the Buds friends were excited to touch and move them around but we all discovered we could use them to build a tower! K and R even built a pretend birthday cake and sang “happy birthday”!
On the back table, K, L and Y worked their fine motor muscles by making some beautiful line illustrations and L, who was nearby, came to join! We used many colors and Vieda also gave us some stickers to place wherever we wanted! Thanks Vieda! We love peeling and sticking on stickers!
In the free play area, there were some delicious donuts and apple pies set out, ready to cook and serve our Buds Class friends! We love pretending to cook together!
After we cleaned up and gobbled up our snacks, we put on our smocks and jackets and set out for Arisu no Mori retirement center to wish our senior friends a happy holiday! We did an amazing job walking all the way out to where they stay. Our legs were tired but we were so excited to see them and sing “Jingle Bells” to them all! They were so happy and impressed by our bravery to stand up in front of a crowd and do our best!
When we finished they gave us a wonderful balloon show presentation and gifted us a wonderful toy balloon with some stickers! We returned the appreciation by giving them a festive holiday card! All the grandmas and grandpas there clapped so loudly for us and waved goodbye. As we were walking out, we were stopped by a very cute robot who also said bye-bye to us!
The Buds Class was invigorated with a new charge of energy that helped us walk all the way back in time for our yummy lunch but we were so sleepy and ready to lay down. Phew!
Thank you so much and have a wonderful evening everyone!
Lots of love,
Buds XOXO
