Happy Tuesday! It’s been an amazing day in Flowers Class!
This morning, we were shown a special presentation. We learned about orchids and how to take care of them. There are many different kinds of orchids; some of them look like other things. What did we see in the flowers?
R: Looks like a human!
E: Alien!
S: Bird!
K: Monkey!
What do we do to take care of them?
J: If we water it, it will grow!
M: We need to water once a week!
Then we read a book about flowers! We learned about the different parts of the flower and remembered seeing a bee eating pollen in the presentation.
S: The yellow part of the flower can do color.
We also saw that all fruit comes from flowers. We saw some fruit flowers!
M: Strawberry!
R: Eggplant!
J: I like the eggplant!
S: I don’t like artichoke! They can choke you!
J: There’s a sunflower!
P: I have a sunflower next to my house.
It was fun to learn about flowers today, especially because our class name is Flowers!
