My name means…

Free Play

Our teachers set up a fun Ball Run activity for us to enjoy this morning! They tilted the table, taped some cardboard to the sides, and stuck two cups at the bottom. We used the wooden blocks and placed them on the table then rolled a ball from the top and tried to get them into the cups! If it didn’t work the first time, we tried adding more blocks or moving the blocks to see if we could get them inside the cup. It was a very fun and engaging activity!

Circle time

We started our circle time singing some songs and counting our friends. S counted 11 friends and H counted 3 teachers. Our teachers used the counting frogs and added 11 and 3 together!

A did her Lifebook Show and tell for us today! She pointed out some pictures and talked about them.

A: (Title page) This is mommy, daddy, and me. C, T, and A. *Turns the page* This is me, I’m a baby and this is Angel, my dog.

Nimo: Who has a white dog?

E: Me! Well, I don’t have a dog, but I have a white heart at home.

M: I have a dog! She’s not white.

I: Me!

A: This is Baba and Papa, my grandma and grandpa.

S: Baba?

N: No grandpa.

E: My halmoni sounds like Kpop Demon Hunters.

M: I have three grandmas.

A: This is my blanket! My favorite one!

We thanked A for the wonderful show and tell!

We quickly reviewed the meaning of our names then played a game! Our teachers would say the first letter of our name and if it was our name, we picked up our name plate from the floor then walked across the balance beam and placed our names on the pictures!

We finished up our story time reading, “The Mitten” by Jan Brett. We plan to do a fun craft starting tomorrow about mittens!

Thank you all for another fabulous day! Have a great evening and see you all tomorrow!

Love,

Petals
