Happy Thursday everyone!
Today in the Buds Class, we reviewed a little about the Azabu Public Library and the Mojamoja veterinary clinic!
When we arrived, we were invited to continue creating our surprise Dad’s day gift and the Setsubun oni bags! These Buds are excellent fine motor users, as they each precisely added the perfect amount of paste, color and stickers for each individual creation! What more is how well everyone is holding the paint brush when applying glue to their crafts. We love to flex our creative side!
At the back table, we corralled some animals to safety and gave them some yummy pretend food! We recognized some familiar animals from our stories we enjoyed recently, like a rooster, pig, dog and more! Animals are our favorite and we were still very excited about our recent animal hospital visit.
In the free play area, we baked and served donuts for our teachers and friends. There was also a salad option! We used tongs to pick up the vegetables and pop them into bowls for our buddies. Using tongs to pick up items of different sizes is a great way we exercise our hand and finger muscles.
Once we cleaned up and gathered for circle time, we counted our friends that were at school for the day.
