Dear Buds Families,
Our hearts are full of gratefulness for all your support and love since the beginning of the school year. Thank you so much! We are glad to be a part of your child’s growth and feel honored to celebrate your child’s success in reaching their developmental milestones. Have a safe and wonderful winter vacation! To our dear friend, Ko, we wish you all the best as you start a new learning journey. To our dear friends, Em, Ka and Ty, who are moving up to Petals class, have a lovely transition into your new class.
MORNING FREE PLAY
We had lots of fun playing with cylinder blocks, doughnuts and popsicles and musical instruments. It has been interesting to observe how we arranged and interacted with the cylinder blocks. Some of us put blocks of different sizes on top of each other and were so amazed at what we came up with —- a tower, a tall cake and a building! Some of us seemed to be fascinated with stacking them according to colors as well. In the kitchen area, some of us loved “serving” doughnuts as well as reading books in the nearby library area. We like Jingle Bells so having some musical instruments around made us feel more festive by playing and singing it repeatedly. We noticed the puzzle boxes on the floor and took the challenge of completing a picture. When it became a little challenging, we still had a smile on our face and came up with another idea! No and Sh began arranging the boxes in a line and then Yu and La came and placed doughnuts on the boxes. Ta-da! We had a long table for snack time. Yay! Brilliant ideas coming from brilliant minds!
CIRCLE TIME
For our circle time, we read the book “Hello, Goodbye” by David Lloyd. We enjoyed saying hello just like the animals who were in the book. We were able to identify the bees, red birds and snakes. At the end of the story, it started to rain and the animals said goodbye to the bear. There are times when we need to say goodbye. Ko came up in front of the class, and we said our goodbyes to each other. We will miss you!
