Graduation Play Prep

May 11, 2026

Happy Monday! Welcome back to Flowers Class! We’re excited to start a new week!

CIRCLE TIME

As we continue to prepare for graduation, we practiced walking and receiving our diplomas while wearing graduation caps. It was a bit difficult to keep the caps on our heads though.

We began filling out the lines for our play of Humpty Dumpty; deciding what each character could say in every situation. Here’s a bit of what we came up without too much detail, so we don’t spoil the story too much.

J: I don’t want to listen to anyone forever! I don’t want to listen.

E: I won’t listen to you. I want to be a bad boy!

J: I can catch the pigeon now!

S: I want to climb again!

R: “BANG!”

I: Go help!

E: Call the dad.

R: Stay outside! Be careful, you will fall down!

A: Don’t worry.

S: Are you okay?

M: Here you go.

We tried getting into our roles and getting the timing down for when we enter and exit the scene. Then we thought about the actions we will do and the sound effects we’d like to add. We still have a long way to go until we will be ready to present it for graduation, so we spend a lot of time practicing until then.

Love,

Flowers
