Good afternoon everyone!

On top of the little table, N and H completed their amazing starry sky mobiles by sticking their stars in just the right places! H picked two silver stars and one gold one to complete his, while N topped his off with a pink and gold painted star! Very beautiful! Once we cleaned up the table H and L painted their birthday canvases! They chose their own colors and painting tools. Their finished artworks are so inspiring!

This morning, we sorted colorful shapes and cups by size and fit on the front table. H investigated the cups and tapped them on the table top! He seems like a natural drummer! K had loads of fun fitting the shapes to their correct spots, he even shared some pieces to his friend L who came over and gave him an orange and blue cup to hold the pieces. Thank you!

At the back table, the Buds friends were hard at work to complete a secret banner for our end of the year party! To complete it, we gathered items that were yellow and orange. T was a tornado of glue as he smeared and squished glue all about the table with his buddy N! They both were squealing with joy as Goh san gave them colorful tissue paper to stick down. L came over and picked up an orange marker to illustrate some beautiful lines. They really danced along the paper and popped so brightly against the white!

Inside the sensory table, there were many cookie cutters and rollers out for us to practice flattening clay and pressing it into shapes of cars, planes and more! E and Y showed R how to roll out clay nicely to make a great helicopter and rocket cookie! Pretty soon, R was gathering lumps of his own and gave it a go, he stuck out his tongue and looked so focused as he squished and smashed away! His favorite was the patrol car cookie! L joined and made a shooting star cookie! She was so happy to pass it over to T! These Buds are so thoughtful!

Once we cleaned up and gathered for the morning circle, we noticed Brandon brought out a mat and rolled it out to role play pretend bedtime! He invited us up to show what we do when we become sleepy. R ran up and immediately laid down with a cheeky smile and giggled! L then asked to come up and showed us that we lay down on the mat to make our body relax and then H ran up with S to cover him with the nice soft blanket! When our friends took turns laying down, we all said “GOODNIGHT!” and then pretended to quickly wake up and get ready for the morning.

Thank you so much for a wonderful day everyone! See you tomorrow!

Love,

Buds
