Free Flow Friday!

Today is a special day at Ohana called “Free Flow Friday” . It is a day where we get to go and play with our friends in other classes! In Flowers class, Evita read us a story and we helped work on their “Grateful Tree”. They also had some cutting activities and an obstacle course!
In Petals, we started by singing the “How Are You Today” song then learned the first letter of each of our friends’ names! After that, we quickly reviewed the classroom rules and went off to play! We had play dough with alphabets for letter recognition, threading dolls for our theme of “All about me”, free drawing, or make our very own Chitose Ame Bag for Shichigosan coming up next week! To make our bags, we chose two colors of long pieces of paper and pasted them together. In a tray our teachers cut out many different shapes and we were free to choose any one of them to stick on our bag! We finished it by writing our name and the kanji for Shichigosan on the back!
In Buds Class, we sang a circle time song with Vieda and played a fun game together with the ribbons! They set up a fun obstacle course for us to play on and had an art table with nature materials! We pasted pieces of bark, wood, chips and sticks onto a beautiful painting our little friends painted!
After each of us got to play in all of the classes, we gathered back together in Petals and got ready for lunchtime!

Thank you all for a fabulous week! Have a fantastic weekend and we will see you again on Monday!
Love,
Petals
