Hello everyone! Today we talked about something very special- the people who we love, help us, and take care of us.

S: We had questions, then we have to say if it was a yes or no
We answered these questions together, “Who are the people who are important to us?” and “Do we all have people who help us?”

We have two special words in our question of day. Which do you think they are?
M: Important!

What does important mean?
M: it means not funny
J: listening ears?
L: If you don’t wear your jacket, you’ll get a cold. (when asked why it is important to wear a jacket during winter)
M: for example me and Evita was being silly. Shlomo come to try to stop both but both of you are silly
S: kind
R: if you’re sick and no doctors, you’ll be sick and not better.

L: When we fall down
S: for example if you can’t read someone can read it to you
E: like the firefighters
R: Yesterday, there was a big fire in Hongkong.

Help: doing something kind to make someone’s day easier

E: so many. Doctor, Police, Firefighter help us.
J: When we fall down people can help

S: because someone in the house, there’s fire and firefighters will put water to the fire.
S: Our parents always help
J: NO! I can do it all by myself. Just like eating snacks. Daddy cook. I can wash clothes, but mommy put it in.
Then we shared about the people that are important to us, like our families, friends, and all the community helpers.

What do we do if someone helped us?
E: We say “Thank you”
Are we all helpful too?

To show gratitude, we sat in a circle, and we passed around a pretend telephone to call someone that is important to us to say, “Thank you!” and “I love you!” We learned that kind words make us feel nice and happy.
